Custom pen & ink house portraits + logo refresh for country farm stay

Pen and ink line drawing of a single-story house with a porch, front steps, and two potted plants on either side of the door.

Corunna Station is a luxury farm stay in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia. It was once a 3,000 acre wool sheep business and still has the original shearing shed as the centre point of the property and accommodation facilities. The owners have given the accommodation facilities a makeover and added an African safari stay influence to the design.

The old original shears found in the shearing shed (which now sit proudly on the homestead’s mantle piece) were incorporated into the refreshed logo to pay homage to the history, while the existing classic typography and black and white scheme was retained.

The property features three accommodation houses, each one I drew by hand in pen and ink, then scanned and digitised in Photoshop, along with the shearing sheds. Wine bottle labels were also designed in a minimal style to complement the classic brand.

Scope of Work:

  • Custom brand illustrations

  • Logo refresh
